Customer sets up some rules of any intended campaign at a central server via a web browser. By setting some specific date and time, the actual contents will be dispatched accordingly.
Once BLUBER server is running, it constantly scans for Bluetooth-enabled mobile devices. The coverage range for BLUBER antenna is typically 100 meter for a class-1 antenna and 10 meter for a class-2 antenna.
When a user is within BLUBER coverage range and makes his/her mobile device discoverable, BLUBER will identify the device’s universally unique 12-character hex ID. It is recommended to have visible call-to-action poster, screen or flyer to inform users that they are within a BLUBER zone.
BLUBER will check the Bluetooth ID against its internal database. Based on the pre-set rules, it will deliver the relevant content(s) to the device.
Every delivery status (success, decline/reject, partial transfer, timeout) is recorded so that detailed statistics of a campaign can be retrieved.
